The SABI is a four-year citizen-led accountability programme funded by UK aid. It helps to inform and empower citizens to hold effective dialogue with better engaged and more accountable state service providers.

 

Communications and Learning Officer SABI

 

Location: Freetown 

Contract type: National - Fixed Term

Contract Period: End 30th June 2020

Salary: Band D - Le 152,396,857 – 168,906,027 (Band D)

 

The Communications and Learning Officer is a new role to the SABI programme. The post holder will support the delivery of SABI’s communications strategy and will capture and disseminate learning from the SABI programme and wider Christian Aid Sierra Leone country programme. S/he will raise the programme’s profile among key stakeholders in Sierra Leone and globally. S/he will provide hands-on communications and learning support for the programme’s engagement with key stakeholders

 

The post holder must possess a degree in marketing and communications or equivalent 5 years’ experience in a related field. The role includes technical expertise in building media relationships and generating media coverage. Should have excellent written English and the ability to manage design editorial processes and good editorial skills. Also experience of developing and delivering effective communications strategies and plans.
